    Antique Outstanding Vintage Silver Plated Cake / gateau Stand

    An outstandingly well preserved vintage electroplated silver on copper cake or gateau stand.

     
    Ideal for presenting a cake on that special occasion, just imagine what an impact this beautifully crafted piece would make!
     
    Of superb quality, with marvelous chased floral decoration surrounding an uninscribed central cartouche. The decoration has been expertly finished with applied linked-ball beading to the outer edge.
    Supported on a well balanced stepped, spreading base.
     
    Made by Cooper Brothers and Sons in Sheffield.
    Bearing their trademark, it probably dates c1950s - 1960s.
