Original Leather And Wrought Iron Pair Of Marked (Fire) Buckets.
Both buckets are marked pressed in the leather with a large letter R (Rex?)
It is very rare to find this type of buckets with wrought iron handles and wrought iron frame.
All over in original used wonderful condition with beautiful original patination to the leather and wrought iron, there are no repairs.
The only other leather bucket with wrought iron handle know by us is in the museum of London and dated 1660.
