Circa 1870, mid Victorian mahogany dressing table. The mahogany framed mirror has an arched top and is supported by turned upright columns which are finished with finials. The mirror is held in place by a brass bracket. Below the mirror the solid mahogany top has rounded corners and a simple moulding. Below this is a configuration of 2 short drawers over 2 larger drawers. The drawers have flamed mahogany fronts and turned knob handles, and very fine escutcheons. Below the bottom drawer is a simple moulding, and the whole piece stands on turned squat bun feet.
