A mid 19th century exhibition quality mahogany two drawer library table. The table top is oblong with rounded corners and edges, two drawers to the front and two dummy drawers to the reverse. The drawers are cedar wood lined and have turned mahogany knob handles. The table has a platform base raised on turned and reeded bun feet with concealed casters underneath. The platform has a pair of turned and fluted pillar supports for the top at each end. The broad cross rail between the platform ends has a decorative turned boss in the centre. The table is excellent quality and in very good original condition.
