    This is an incredible collection of 16 ORIGINAL items comming from a big old collection that was taken into Argentina in 1888 from Europe by Melchor Cordeyro Echague . The collection has been exhibited many times in the Argentine National Weapons Museum and also in 1946 in the Argentine Ministry of Defense during the General Juan Domingo Peron precidency . There are pictures of this events . The collection has some incredible items and we are selling it for the value of just some of them . Some of the swords are worth a fortune like the original sword from the beginning of the Christian Era or the helmet of a high officer . This is the list of items . The original collection was bigger but was divided among the 4 heirs along the decades . This is one of the 4 parts .

     
    1) SASHKA : OFICIAL SWORD OF THE ANTIQUE RUSSIAN IMPERIAL GUARD OF THE COSSACKS FROM THE DON (in Russian : ??????? ?????? ) “CUBAN AND TEREC” . XVI CENTURY .Excellent original condition . Handle made of Steel and Silver . FINEST ENGRAVED AND GOLD INLAYED IN BOTH , THE POMMEL AND THE SCABARD MATCHING STYLE . BLADE ALSO ENGRAVED WITH THE IMPERIAL CROWN . ORIGINAL Scabard made of leather .
    2) YATAGHAN – TURKISH SABRE . XV CENTURY , OF THE TURKISH JANIZARY , WHO WAS A MEMBER OF AN ELITE MILITARY UNIT OF THE TURKISH ARMY ORGANIZE IN THE XIV CENTURY .
    WIGNED WOODEN HANDLE WITH SILVER TRIMMINGS . STEEL BLADE WITH SILVER INLAYS . Excellent original condition
    3)BROADSWORD : ORIGIN : BEGINNING OF THE CHRISTIAN ERA . IRON BLADE WITH GOLD INLAYS : In one side the triple Jesus Christ Cross and the Catacombs sign , on the other side the Jerusalem Star .

    4)French Sword XVII Century . Excellent condition . Blade with 3 edges with a read in one : “VEUVE GUILNUM O VERSAILLE” . Steel handle
    5)SPANISH SWORD MADE BY MISINAL , FAMOUS SWORDSMITH FROM SOLINGEN , GERMANY , XVI CENTURY . This is a cup sword type . The blade reads the name of the s wordsmith .
    6)ORIGINAL JAPANESE WAHASASHI XIX CENTURY . FORJED BLADE .
     
    7)BURGONET HELMET , ITALIAN XVI CENTURY , ORIGINAL , EXCELLENT CONDITION , completely engraved , probably belonged to a high range officer .
    8)KATAR , ORIGINAL PIECE FROM XVII CENTURY , also known as KATARA , from South Asia , India . Used by the Kshatriya tribe .
     
    9)SERBIAN DAGGER , BONE HANDLE WITH BRONZE INLAIDS . BLADE WITH SILVER INLAIDS AND THE READ “SARAJEVO - YEAR 1583” . Leather scabard with the toe made of steel and silver
     
    10) KINDJAL , ORIGINAL DAGGER OF THE ANTIQUE RUSSIAN IMPERIAL GUARD . XVII CENTURY . Excellent preserved condition . Ivory handle with steel buttoms . Leather scabard .
     
    11) JAPANESE ORIGINAL KAIKEN : XVI CENTURY , AZUCHI-MOMOYAMA PERIOD , handle and scabard wooden made . These short swords were carried by men and women of the SAMURAI CLASS in Japan and used for indoor self defense where the Katana swords were not appropiate due to their lenght . Also for suicide ritual

    14)FINEST WESTERN AFRICAN KNIFE , ABISINIA OR ETIOPIA , XVII Century , HANDLE MADE OF HORN WITH FINE INSETS . Straight double edge blade . Scabard made of crocodile leather finely embossed .
     
    15)Very rare knife with original scabard that includes two wooden sticks . The handle of the knife and both ends of the scabard have finest bronce embossed finish .
     
    16)ITALIAN SWORD XVIII CENTURY , EXCELLENT CONDITION , marked with the swordsmith mark
