Antique Manuscript Leaf of A Noble, Nandi and Parrot Gods

A noble with Nandi and two attendants is flanked by two gods who have the body of a human and the face of a parrot. Parrots have a special place in Hinduism. There are gods and goddesses who keep parrots with them. A parrot can be a means of transport. But more likely related to this leaf, parrots are messengers and in this leaf, perhaps they bring tidings to the royal figure.
