The pistol is one of the extremely desirable “first 1,000” guns manufactured in 1859.
This is a series 1, five shot, rare 6" barrel, with an early serial
#381. Fat grip, standard barrel catch. Also included is an original Manhattan bullet mold and a Manhattan Firearms reprint of Walter E Nutter's book.
The last four images are of the barrel bore and one of the revolving chambers. Clearly it has remained untouched for a very long time.
Does not require a license to hold as a collectors item.
Condition (As described in the USA NRA ANTIQUE FIREARM CONDITION STANDARDS):
VERY GOOD: All original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised; bore disregarded for collector's firearms
Message me for a postage/ insurance quote.
The price for the USA Civil War handgun on its own should you not require the book and bullet mold would be £1200.
Please note that this price may NOT include delivery charges which the seller may charge extra for.
