Circa 1810, late George III mahogany serving table. The large rectangular table has curved breakfront ends and ebony inlay on the fore edge, below is a crossbanded fore edge and 3 further panels. The central panel is in flamed mahogany framed with ebony inlay and has shaped ends. The 2 end sections are bowfronted and again have flame mahogany, below which is an ebonised ribbed moulding which runs across the front and the sides. The table stands on 6 large bulbous and fluted tapering legs, finishing on turned feet. Good size and good colour.
