High quality example of a late-19th Century Swedish silver-mounted hunting knife – of a type worn by a wealthy gentleman. Hallmarked to the hilt ferrule and with the engraved initials of the original owner. Large deer-foot handle. Blade is double-edged and stamped to a Gothenburg maker. In very good, clean condition. Scabbard is mounted in leather and white metal. A fine piece. Blade length is 6.85 inches ( 14.5 inches overall).
