Large 19thC Style Stained Oak Gateleg Coffee Table with Bobbin-Turned Supports

A good quality 19thC style oak piece from around the 1920s and in very good condition, having a richly-grained antique top with rounded edges, 20thC drop-leaves with nicely-detailed junctions to the main top and with cut & shaped bearers on gate legs, all on bobbin-turned and block supports with square stretchers, this generously-proportioned and extendable coffee table is both stylish and immensely practical and will impress in the most elegant of homes, whether furnished with period pieces or more contemporary in style, fully-deserving of the admiring attention it will surely attract when your guests return.

    Length with Drop-Leaves Down 78.5cm x Width 61.25cm (31" x 24")
    Length with Drop-Leaves Up 134cm x Width 78.5cm (52.75" x 31")
    Height 43.5cm (17")

A piece made around the 1920s but with some antique timber, so you may expect the mature character & patina of age and a few minor blemishes on the top but it's in otherwise very good, clean & sound condition and ready to use in your home.
