A circa 1920 Globe Wernicke 4 tier sectional bookcase with separate base and top i.e. 6 pieces in total. Four leaded glazed cabinets, curved top and a bottom drawer. A better quality model made from Mahogany with an Ogee shaped drawer and rounded top. This particular example has provenance with a brass presentation plaque dated 1924 (please see photographs). Please note that the bookcase may or may not have been new when presented and may be a little bit older than the plaque.This piece has been very well looked after. All fittings complete and in very good order, original glazing/brass knobs, fronts lift up smoothly. Very clean internally, external Shellac finish overall is in excellent order - even colour internally and externally . No repairs or old worm damage in rear panels, very little wear/marks/scratches to the front/tops and glazing is in excellent condition.We can arrange economy blanket wrap courier delivery on this piece:
