A late Georgian hexagonal hanging lantern. The lantern has six oblong glazed panels, one of them is a hinged door with a fist twist handle. The top has six scrolling acanthus arms that join at a central ring. The interior of the lantern has a circular frame on which in the past a candle stand would have rested.
