Circa 1820, George IV mahogany and inlaid clock by J. John Dodds of Wigton. With painted face featuring a rocking ship mechanism and a nautical theme, a horn top and open fretwork panel. There are tapering columns to the case with inlaid shell designs, and unusual quilling beneath it, with an inlaid pattern and further quilling beneath the door. Standing on bracket feet, it has been serviced and is working.
