Circa 1800, late George III mahogany and inlaid toilet mirror. The oval shaped mirror has a mahogany frame and boxwood edging, held in place by two shaped and turned uprights. It locks in position with two cast brass axe head drops which can rotate to tighten the mirror. The shaped uprights sit on a mahogany platform and at the front of this there is three drawers, lined in oak with ebony and boxwood inlay on their fore-edges. The whole piece stands on 4 squat ogee bracket feet.
