“Extraordinary Antique Baccarat Overalay Glass Bonbonierre”
Fantastic example of a very rare Baccarat covered bowl / candy bowl / bonbon / Bonbonierre most likely made for an Ottoman market. Very difficult to find identical shape and decor with similar design.
Color: turquoise blue with white decorated with 24k gold floral ornaments and flower garlands all around.
Date: 1850
Condition: Perfect
Shape: Turban-shaped cover.
Height: 23cm with a cover
Width across the rim: 10 cm
A similar example is presented in a Baccarat museum in Paris. Very rare and important piece.
