Circa 1870, exhibition quality Victorian mahogany 2 door cabinet bookcase, with a simple cornice and below 2 glazed doors with flamed mahogany pilasters on either side the door. Below the main surface is a long drawer which opens to reveal a mahogany and leather writing slide. The liners of the bookcase are ash indicating that it is probably Scottish.
