This charming Late 20th Century porcelain figurine, "The Red Boy", after Sir Thomas Lawrence, P.R.A., { 1769 - 1830 }, bears all of the hallmarks of Reg Johnson's multi-faceted talent, not only as designer, but also as potter and painter. Superbly modelled, beautifully decorated, and fired in his own studio, this delightful piece offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
