Circa 1840, early Victorian mahogany hall table with a narrow rectangular top, flat fore edge and ogee moulding beneath. There is a simple apron which has a drawer which sits flush in the centre. The front of the drawer is solid mahogany and inside are ash side rails and a pine liner. Beneath this is a rectangular beading. The whole piece stands on stylish legs which are turned at the top and faceted and tapering below this finishing in an elegant turned foot. Excellent original colour and patination, stylish and sturdy table.
