This is a beautifully made ivory box, circa 1900, with the interior divided lengthways into three compartments, and originally two compartments further sub-divided - maybe for cigarettes, etc, as it's the sort of innocent-looking object with which men used to amuse their friends. The inside of the cover is engraved with a three-masted sailing ship 'SUNBEAM', and the box has a nicely fitted gilt-metal hinge and push-button catch. Underneath is a rather raunchy engraved erotic scene of an exhausted looking couple - picture emailed on request if you are over 18. the box is 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 1 inch: 138 x 88 x 25 mm
