Circa 1840, Dutch marquetry inlaid mahogany side table or writing table. The rectangular top has fluted edges, boxwood string inlay and is covered in panels of floral marquetry in exotic woods, centred by a marquetry urn. With a full-length ogee-fronted, frieze drawer with rococo brass handles and escutcheon and a small central apron, all over inlaid cabriole supports with pad feet.
