Circa 1900, Edwardian Chippendale style mahogany chair has a carved open fretwork back with stylish pediment and profusely carved centre with relief carvings and open fretwork. The 2 dramatic arms end in eagle heads. The hand stitched seat has royal interest, with the Prince of Wales plume and dated 1909. The front legs have carved knees and finish on ball and claw feet and the back legs are outswept. Very stylish exceptional quality chair.
