Circa 1920, wonderful burr walnut and Chinoiserie cabinet on stand. The neat sized cabinet has gilded inlay and caddy fore edge on the top, below are 2 doors with wonderful panels in full Chinoiserie decoration and an elaborate lock. The scenes depict a temple, gardens and exotic birds in flight. The gables are walnut with gilded string inlay. The doors are held on by 3 elaborate strap hinges and open to reveal a simple uninterrupted interior. The cabinet stands on a wonderful carved Queen Anne style base on carved cabriole legs finishing on carved curled feet. Excellent colour and good condition.
