Antique Chinese Carved Miniature Offering Stand

This finely carved stand, now missing its lid or cover, is a miniature chanab or offering stand used on an altar. It has with beautifully carved and gilded panels on each side. One is of a group of nobles and the opposite is of flora.

Given the size, it probably served as a receptacle for small offerings of fruit. There are three receptacles.

The condition of the chanab here is excellent, other than that the cover is now missing. It is very decorative nonetheless.
