A very atmospheric picture of Bristol Docks, with several vessels to the fore and the Clifton Suspension Bridge in the background. The work is drawn mainly in pencil, and shaded in pencil with watercolour used to great effect on the water and smoke from the ships. The work is mounted in a modern mount with a simple ebonised wood frame. The work is signed and dated W.L.Wyllie 1922, though I must stress that this is unlikely to be the work of the famous marine artist by that name.
