Antique Antique cased fish IRISH SEA TROUT by J.Cooper & sons taxidermy

A beautiful and original cased sea trout by John Cooper & sons in very good original and unrestored condition.
The fish retains excellent colour and is modelled excellently and as always with cooper cases the groundwork is very good, this fish has been mounted along with the original trace & fly it was caught with.

The fish weighed 2lbs 3oz and was taken on the 23rd July 1903 at Lough Currane, Ireland.
