antique victorian campaign collectors box

This handsome old box has a good polished finish with nice graining complimented with brass corner and side protectors, oval brass cartouche and escutcheon and later fitted brass handles to the sides and brass hasp and staple to the front.

A green felt is fitted to the base. Box opens on brass hinges to reveal a fully lined interior in a green felt. A great collectors box or maybe a gun/pistol box, extra felt included for any further partition needed. Measurements are 13 1/4” x 8 3/4” x 4”. Minor wear commensurate to age.
