antique style southwell run up stool by whytock and reid

Circa 1970s, rare and unusual stool or ‘Southwell Run Up stool’ by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh. With a large square, feather-filled cushion to the top and the fully upholstered base in original monogrammed Whytock and Reid ticking. The square tapering legs finish with a brass bezel and castors, with one leg featuring the makers stamp ‘Whytock & Reid’.
