A large Late 18th / Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Copper Jug or Pitcher of fractionally less than twelve pint / 1.50 gallon capacity when filled to the brim. The swelling body of brazed seam construction, raised upon a sturdy spreading foot, the rolled rim with broad sparrow-beak lip, the well formed handle with attractive upper mount. Most unusual to come across a jug of this size and period in such fine condition today.
