Circa 1900, Adams style mahogany demi lune card table. The D shaped card table has a solid top and wonderfully carved fore edge. The top is hinged and opens to reveal a baize lined interior. Below the top is a wonderful rail which is ribbed and has oval carved flower heads. There is an egg and dart beading below the frieze. The table has four unusual legs with ram heads carved in the tops, and foliate carving which tapers as does the leg. At the base is an acanthus leaf and the legs finish in a hairy hoof foot. The back legs are hinged and swing out for the table to open. The table is a good size with excellent colour.
