A fabulous watercolour by Edgar Bundy ARA 1862 - 1922, Signed and dated 1904.
A London historical genre painter and watercolourist. His subjects were mainly historical costume pieces, exhibited at the RA from 1881 and at the Paris Salon from 1907.
The fine watercolour is in excellent condition with incredible detail and is presented in what appears to be its original frame inscribed Edgar Bundy ARA. His work is illustrated in 'The Dictionary of British Art, Victorian Painters' by Christopher Wood.
There is a tiny piece of moulding missing from the top right hand quarter of the frame see image.
