A very atmospheric, attractive, signed and framed oil painting of a hunt in the mist in a woodland setting. It measures 25ins (63cms) x 27ins (68cms) to the outside of the frame and is a distant view of an approaching hunt, with hounds before them and the mounted riders in hunting pink and black hats. It is very well executed in oil on board and captures the feeling of the scene extremely well, with a haunting and misty light and nice touches to the trees and ground.
It is signed at bottom right, but sadly, I am unable to decyppher the signatyre! ( Please see photo!)
