a pair of early victorian solid brass rampant horses

A pair of early Victorian solid brass flat back horses, originally used as fender/fire/chimney decorative pieces back in the day.
They are substantial pieces, weighing in at 2kgs each. They are 12" in length X 9" in height X 3.5" in depth.
Both in excellent condition, after several months in humid conditions, the brass has now started to oxidise into a stunning gold deep bronze colour,(not fully reflected in pictures).
I personally love the richness of the colour, but if required a quick rub with a proprietary metal cleaner (brasso) would quickly restore the horses to a bright brass finish if required.
These stunning pieces would be superb as door stops or as their original intended use.
I am selling them both at the low price of £110.00
