This full hunter pocket watch is of clean presentation and in full working order. The front cover has never been engraved with any initials or personalised message. The crown does not appear to have any wear, and the loop is hallmarked for 9c. Depressing the crown reveals the front of the watch. Inside the front cover, there appears to be a mark for 9c gold. However it is heavily rubbed. There also appears to be a date letter but that too is rubbed. There is a partial makers mark, which reads S M? Co Ltd. A registration number 70799 is clear to see.

The front of the watch is of white enamel. The numbers are clear and are in roman numerals. There is also some inscription to the front face of the watch. It states "H WHITE MFG. Co Ltd MANCHESTER TO. H.M.GOVERNMENT. There is also confirmation at the bottom of the watch that it is Swiss Made. A second hand counter is placed at the 6 O'clock position. The outside of the rear case is again plain. There appears to have been no initials or verse that has been previously added. Inside the rear cover some of the hallmarks are more easily identifiable. It is clear that there are marks for 9c Gold. Equally it can be seen that this piece was assayed in Chester. What is not discernible is the date that it was hallmarked. There is also further information that is written on the underside of this cover. It states STYLIC English Made.
The dust cover for the watch mechanism is again stamped 9c Gold. However there is no clue to the date that this piece was made. The movement appears to be clean, and is unsigned. The movement itself is a club tooth lever escapement type. All in all, an excellent full hunter pocket watch that will last for some considerable time.
