    661. french gold enamelled glass centerpiece 19th century

    A Very Unusual and possibly quite rare Glass Centerpiece of bulbous form with upper ruffeled rim. The outer body with lavish gilt enamel decoration depicting scroll work with flowers and leaves on a smoky grey or light brown glass. Polished pontil, circa last half of 19th Century.

    NOTE: This piece is unmarked, could have come from several French glass manufacturers ie St. Louis Legras Pantin Moser or even Baccarat.

    In overall superb condition with no imperfections, no losses to gilding.
