A rare and unusual 19th century pollard oak side table in the manor of Gillows, possibly made by Gillows, having a wonderfully figured drop leaf top, two oak lined drawers below with original turned ebonised wooden knobs, flanked either side with two smaller drawers which sits underneath the bottom tier top, the back of the table in the same style as the front but with faux drawers, standing on nice elegant turned legs ending on brass cap and castors. Fabulous colour and in excellent condition. Circa 1840.
