    A mid 19th century brass and metal fire place fender. The fender stands on three paw feet to the front and a metal tray to the rear. The fender has a moulded brass kerb and upper edge with turned brass uprights that have a ball finial top and a metal grille in-between. The interior of the fender has a metal tray which is dipped at the rear an inside the tray are two fixed bars on which fire tools can be rested. The fender is in good condition, the brass has been cleaned and the metal blackened. FIRE TOOLS NOT INCLUDED (Circa 1840) Height 30cm (11.8 inches) Length 92.5cm (36.4 inches) Width 32cm (12.6 inches)
