18th century oak cupboard

An antique oak aumbry / cupboard, this was more than likely made in part from a 16th Century aumbry, reconstructed in the late 18th Century, it has linenfold & chip carving on the front, also iron butterfly hinges and door catches, the cupboard itself has two cupboard doors above two drawers. A really interesting piece of furniture. This was purchased at the Christies “Morgan Williams sale” 26th April 1921. Circa 1780.
