A late 18th century George III sterling silver basket with a swing handle. The basket has hall marks for London, the year 1789 and a maker's marks for William Adby. The basket has a pierced foot and rim with engraved swags and flowers around the inside. The rim of the foot and basket edge are reeded as is the swing handle. The basket is in good condition but has engraved initials in the centre.
