1825 georgian silver fish slice by london's william johnson

This is a very substantial quality Georgian Silver Fish Slice London of 1825 by the London silversmith William Johnson.

It has a curved fiddle pattern handle with the Old English pattern to the back. The slice has a pierced pattern of stars, diamonds and tear drops with a lined decoration surrounding the shapes and then another lined pattern following the outline of the shaped side of the slice. This is a good sized fish slice which is made from a good guage of silver and has very crisp hallmarks The overall length is 11.75 with the the slice being 6.25 inches long and 2.75 inches wide at its widest point.It is in very good condition with just some very light surface scratching, which is only to be expected on a metal item and is commensurate with age and useRef 2033
