Circa 1830, giltwood and gesso rectangular pier mirror by James Mein of Kelso. The moulded cornice raised over a line of ball roundels and an engraved pediment with a lion head decoration in the centre. There are triple pillar columns on either side of the mirror surmounted by acanthus leaves. The original back bears the makers label of Mein.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
