Circa 1880, late Victorian giltwood mirror in the Georgian style. The rectangular bevelled edge mirror is contained in a very stylish frame. The top has an architectural pediment with foliate carving and beading, over a carved pattern and a ribbed section with cross over ribbons and then a section with raised and recessed gilding all around the frame, with carved flower heads in the top corners. At the base is an extended section on either side with a stylish scrolling carved bracket with flower heads and ferns.
