Circa 1775, George III period mahogany Chippendale style breakfront bookcase with elaborate later carvings in the Gothic manner, the pierced and cusped balustraded cornice with dentil moulding above four astragal glazed doors, enclosing adjustable shelves, the deeper base with carved edge above central drawer and pair of cupboards flanked by deeper cupboard, enclosing sliding trays and drawers, all is standing on a blind fretwork plinth and bracket feet. Size approx 283cm high x 255cm wide x 66cm deep. Most items include free delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
