    Antique Antique 19th Century Inlaid Walnut & Mahogany Specimen Collectors Cabinet Chest wj1/7.1

    Superb Antique 19th Century Walnut Inlaid and Carved |Specimen Cabinet that would also make a fabulous jewellery cabinet. Dating from around 1880 it has a swan neck pedament top with turned finial to the centre and and with deep stepped cornice above two doors each having a carved mahogany panel of grape and ivy design set within an walnut surround inlaid with satinwood and mahogany. It has its original lock and key. Internally there is a flight of ten drawers each being 1.1/3" deep and it stands on a plinth base on lovely turned bun feet.

     
    Measures: 28" high x 18.5" wide x 13" deep
     
    This is a superb specimen/collectors cabinet in very good condition with a wonderful colour and original patination to the walnut and oozes all the charm and character of the period.
