19th century oil portrait painting of young boy holding wooden spinning top / size 29 x 23 inches

We are delighted to offer for sale this amazing quality three quarter length oil on canvas portrait painting of a young boy who is about four or five years of age, depicted wearing a blue velvet smock, with an intricate lace trimming around the neck and wrists. He is holding an nicely crafted wooden spinning top.

FRAME
The painting has been newly framed in a 2 5/8" gilt frame, which echoes the lace. It is ready to hang.MEASUREMENTS (Including Frame)
