1940s style bomb? sapphire ring

A beautiful ring, made in the style of the 1940s and semi-invisibly set with calibré cut sapphires of fine colour and quality, with diamond points set in platinum between. The wide gold shank, tapering towards the back, is 18 tested. The total sapphire weight is estimated 3 1/2 to 4 carats, and the finger size UK N 1/2, USA 7 sizeable within reason. Great skill in cutting and setting the stones is needed in this type of ring.
